NY Fed: Unemployment For Recent College Grads Jumps 26% in 2024
According to the New York Fed, the unemployment rate for recent college grads jumped by 26% over 2024 and now sits at nearly 215% higher than the rate for all college grads.
With a reported rate of 5.8% total for recent grads, this information comes on the heels of new grads facing lower wages on average and as all Americans have been facing elevated across the board inflation stretching into its fourth full year.
