Drivers Finally Catch A Break As Gas Drops For First Sustained Time This Year ... Down 14 Cents Per Gallon
For the first time since early January, AAA’s daily national gas price tracker has found a sustained drop in the price driver’s are facing at the pump. So far in June, drivers are saving roughly 15 cents off the prices they were finding during the same time last month.
While the high cost states like California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska are skewing the national average with per gallon costs roughly 50 cents or more higher, the AAA daily tracker is an effective and contemporaneous way to understand where energy costs are moment to moment nationally.
Since January 2021, American employers, workers, and citizens have been facing near record sustained price inflation that have left prices over 30% higher across the board led by energy and housing costs.
We here at the Association of Western Employers are analyzing inflationary pressures across the board and will be continually to regularly sharing those findings.
The Association of Western Employers is dedicated to helping create, maintain, and expand career building jobs for every one across the American west and nationally.
