July Gas Prices Hold Steady As Summer Driving Season Begins In Earnest

AAA has found that as the summer driving season moves into full swing, drivers have faced stable prices for the last 30 days after nearly six full months of regular increases.

To be exact, versus nearly the same day in June, prices on a national average were down less than 3/10 of one cent.

While high cost states like California, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii are home to drivers who regularly face 50 cents or more per gallon than the national average, the AAA daily measure is a good rolling indicator of all important energy costs.
