Gas Prices Finish With One Final Win For Drivers As Prices Fall Again In December

As 2024 draws to a close, there was one last gift for drivers as gas prices on a national basis drop by more than 7 cents an hour.

While drivers in California, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii face prices that on average are more than 50 cent more than the national daily tracker, the AAA’s measure is a good rolling estimate on the pricing pressure on employers and drivers.
