February Brings Stormy Weather And An Increase In Gas Prices At The Pump By 4 Cents

AAA’s national gasoline retail price survey shows that while 2024 started with a solid 13 cent drop in prices, February greeted drivers with a 4 cent increase to a $3.14 per gallon price point.

While drivers in California, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii, the four typically highest cost states for gasoline and energy can typically pay 50 cents or more per gallon, the national price survey provides solid general data to understand trends in energy.
