California Electric Vehicle Drivers Pay Just Over 3% More Per Charge Than National Average

California drivers are among the most likely in the nation to drive electric and zero emission vehicles despite facing charging costs that are 3% higher than the national average and higher than those found on Arizona, Oregon, and Utah, which has the lowest charging costs in the West according to AAA.

Unlike most other states, California drivers and employers are facing a 2042 deadline to eliminate all net emissions of carbon dioxide economy wide.
